I'm down at BCM Ducati in New Hampshire this week working with Doug Cook an the custom exhausts for Mike Cecchini's Ducati 1974 750 Sport project and as I downloaded my mail this morning, I found an email from my one of my distributors with pictures of their new ZARD Exhaust for the Ducati Paul Smart Replica and Sport.
...Now, we're talking. Right on the money as far as I'm concerned although I probably would like to see the same megaphone/end caps as offered on ZARD's Monster S2R / S4R systems. I think the asymmetrical, staggered arrangement plays very well to the theme and is a perfect nod the the one-up/one-down system on the original Imola winning bike. With the ZARD exhaust, and the bike stripped of unessential body parts, the Paul Smart Replica (and more so, the Sport) starts to look (to me, at least) like the machine it was designed to replicate. I put a few more detailed pics up in the ZARD Photo Album. Available at the loudbike e-store.
