Round One of the latest saga sees a pretty good report on the folks at State Farm Insurance for the handling of the PD portion of my accident claim. Actually, I should be more generous.. An excellent report. Once they engaged, the service was courteous and professional - and more importantly - netted a fair settlement on the Hyperstrada. Let's see how they (and my lawyer) do on the BI and PI portions...
While I wait for the Hyperstrada replacement - which will have a hard enough edge that passenger participation is off the menu - I bought this fine piece of Italian machinery. $3,450 on Craigslist and trust me; I didn't look this good when I took delivery.
I know this smacks of old age and senility, but with the state of my back and neck, this sedate Italian touring mount is likely going to be the most I can handle for a while. (yes, I'm whining...).
Besides, you won't recognize it next spring. Meanwhile, I'm still a hurting unit, so riding's going to be limited to putting around the neighborhood while I get through physio and heal up.

Hey Steve, the Canyon is a great bike! I had one for a few years and it was a blast to ride at Grattan and Mosport. It also climbed the big hill after the sand wash on the trails around Mosport. Don't apologize for this bike, just dig it!
