1973 Kawasaki Z1 For Sale

The current owner had a Kawasaki dealership many years ago and sold this bike to a gentleman who put the 21,239 miles on the machine and sold it back to his dealership. When the dealership closed, the bike remained in the current owner's possession where it was decommissioned and placed on display in a climate-controlled environment. Take a look at the hi-resolution pics on my Flickr account and you'll see just how complete (but for a cracked ignition switch housing) and clean this bike is. Please note that when the original owner returned the bike to the dealer, he removed the small case guards that he had installed and as such, the machine will need the engine mount plates that were replaced by the guards. 1973 Yamaha TZ 750 For Sale

It’s a ’73 750 that had been originally built as a streetfighter by Dr. Sean Dwyer. This is a very nicely put together custom using many top-drawer components like the Spondon frame fame and swing arm, Swarbrick exhaust, C&J Radiator, TZ500 monoshock, custom tank and seat. GSXR 750 wheels and forks were adapted to fit the package and the engine (409-series un-numbered cases, mag covers) rebuilt.

The bike was purchased at auction in the USA and imported to Canada where it then came into the current owner’s collection. Along the way, the street components were removed and work was started (but not completed) to return the machine to track trim. An unpainted ’73 TZ fairing and screen as well as the original “street components are included in the sale.

Front end: Suzuki 1990 GSXR750 (stock forks and brakes)

1974 Kawasaki Z1A For Sale

This one was restored by the owner and his son many years ago using only Kawasaki NOS components and the finished product took home "Best Japanese" three years running at the CVMG Paris National Rally in Ontario, Canada.  The machine (9/73 manufacture date) has since been decommissioned and on display in a climate-controlled environment.  Take a look at the hi-resolution pics HERE and you'll see just how complete (but for a cracked ignition switch housing) and immaculate this bike is.  8,394 miles showing on the speedo.  Tank inside shows a little rust film that will rinse out.

1973 Yamaha TZ700 For Sale

This 1973/74 TZ is a stunning restoration performed by Montreal, Canada-based Bimota restoration specialist Francois Pelletier.  Good enough to have fooled more than a few TZ aficionados into the belief that it was as delivered by the factory.  Rider history is unknown as the machine went through a number of owners before it was found in rural Quebec, Canada. Years of storage in a less than ideal environment had taken a toll and the bike underwent a complete and painstaking restoration.  On tear-down, it became apparent that the bike had very little time on it so the bulk of the restoration work was cosmetic in nature. 1979 Honda 1000 CBX 'Special' For Sale

Late in 1978, Honda uncorked a knockout punch onto the world of motorcycling with the incredible six-cylinder CBX. An early-release 1979 model, the CBX was created with the inspiration and experience derived from Honda's all-conquering six-cylinder RC166 250cc Grand Prix road-racing motorcycle. Both the RC and CBX were the brainstorms of Shoichiro Irimajiri. When Honda unveiled the CBX, it simply exploded conventional notions of what a high-performance motorcycle could be.

This one; with only 28,000km recorded, is a stunning example of the kind of aftermarket treatment that the performance-oriented CBX owner could apply to the bike.  Marzocchi Strada shocks, a brilliant Kerker 6 into 1 exhaust, braided steel brake lines, 39mm Nighthawk 750S forks and 17” front wheel.  It’s in remarkable condition, with very little patina to belie the mileage.

1969 Kawasaki 500 Mach III For Sale

SOLD! The Kawasaki H1 was the bike that changed the course of high performance motorcycling. The three-cylinder, 500cc two stroke power plant had an impressive 60 horsepower and became the quickest production motorcycle EVER produced (as of 1969!) as it sped down the quarter mile in an unbelievable 12.8 seconds @ 99.5mph. Back in the day you could plonk down just under $1,000 and wheelie instantly into King of The Hill status (or the nearest hospital).

This one is a rare "survivor" example as parked 628 miles and over 40 years ago.  As you can see in the detailed photos HERE, the bike is in excellent condition with very only a few scuffs and chips from its brief time on the street.  It's spent most of its life in one of two collections; both climate-controlled.

1980 Honda 750 Police Special For Sale

Back in 1980, Honda briefly considered taking a run at the Canadian Police market and as part of an exploratory marketing initiative the Company shipped two of these bikes over to Canada.  Honda didn’t pursue the market and the machines were left in Canada; with this one going to a dealer in New Brunswick, and then working its way back to the Toronto area where it graced the current owner’s collection for many years.    It’s rare, stunning and absolutely flawless and the mileage (2.7km) was accumulated as it was pushed from one location to another.

1986 Suzuki GSXR 750 Limited For Sale

I had just started road racing when this bike came out and if you were up in the 750 class, this was the bike to have.  Suzuki took the GSXR750 and added trick bits to create a racing homologation Limited Edition model that offered some interesting goodies that improved an already great bike. Gun-coat engine finish, gold-plated chain, blue-coated wheels and two sets of racing numbers plus a new electrically activated front suspension system (NEAS), 310 mm floating front brake discs, steering damper, racing type adjustable clutch-lever, dry clutch, hand-laid fiberglass single racing seat, remote rear damper reservoir, amber halogen head lights and more. 

More race bike than street bike, this one is absolutely MINT. The machine was decommissioned with 9,881 km showing on the clock and has been on display in a climate-controlled environment since acquisition by the current owner almost a decade ago.  Small stains on fairing inner and very light rust film that will rinse out inside tank.  Some rust on inside of gas cap.

1989 Honda RC30 For Sale

"Out of the box" the machine was claimed to generate 112bhp with full road equipment, however this could be increased to 135bhp when prepared for competition use with the aid of the HRC race kit. The investment made in the models development was vindicated in its first season when Fred Merkel secured the Superbike World Championship in 1988, repeating the success in 1989. The new model instantly became one of the most sought after road bikes, receiving praise from all those who tested it, although its high price and limited availability ensured that those lucky enough to acquire one joined an exclusive club envied by others, today the RC30 remains as desirable as it was twenty years ago.

RC30 #21 spent most of its 10,669km commuting between Toronto and Kingston, Ontario, Canada  and was truly pampered by the original owner.  While the machine was being moved from storage the rear cowl received some minor scratches (shown in the detaled pictures HERE).  Otherwise, this machine is in exceptional condition and even includes the leather bound owner’s manual.  Located in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada region.
